Back to Booktown Clunes

A Weekend For Booklovers -held in May each year when the township of Clunes transforms itself into a booktown.

Saturday and Sunday: 5th and 6th of May, 2012
Kenneth Hince Books will participate again as one of the Book Sellers at the annual 'Back to Booktown 2012' - the Clunes Community Event of the Year! Booksellers from all over the country come to Clunes to offer their treasures & award-winning writers join us for the weekend. There is always much to enjoy - the books, the food and wine, and much much more.

Venue for Hince BooksHince Books will be situated in the AAG Real Estate Office (circa 1871), one of 18 bookstores dotted across the historic gold town! Well over 50 booksellers will display their stock over the weekend and Clunes offers an abundance of antique books, nostalgia, and treasure.

Clunes was the site of Victoria's first gold strike. It is located in a hidden valley surrounded by rounded hills which are actually extinct volcanoes (they can best be seen 3 km south along the road to Ballarat).
